TWEET OF THE DAY
The book of the Radio 4 series 'Tweet of the Day', remodelled as a great book by Stephen Moss and Brett Westwood, and with lots of illustrations by me, was published on the 10th April 2014. Clare is quoted a couple of times at the introductory pages, and then for corncrake, wagtail and bittern.
I spent the winter making 248 vignettes of the birds, and 36 colour pages as well as the cover.
All the colour images are soon going to Brook Street Pottery in Hay on Wye in time for the Hay festival.
At roughly the same time I will have work at the Yew Tree Gallery near St Ives in Cornwall, in an exhibition called ‘Behold!’ curated by lovely Miranda Leonard.
